This 85mm to 130mm Canon zoom finder linked to the auto-parallex correction pin in the accessory shoe of the Canon V and Canon VI cameras.  A second accessory lens fitted to the end of this finder to provide wide angle viewfinder scale down to 28mm.

As was available for several other "systems" rangefinder cameras, Canon offered a metal frame sports finder allowing one-to-one viewing both adjacent to and within the camera image area, so as to track fast moving subjects as they approach and then enter the photographic image area.

Canon rangefinder lens finders came in a variety of configurations for use in the accessory shoes of Canon rangefinder cameras (except the Canon 7 which had no accessory shoe):

1.   Single focal length finders, without parallex adjustment.

2.   Single focal length finders, with parallex adjustment by turning a distance wheel surrounding the finder eyepiece.

3.   Single focal length finders, with parallex adjustment by moving a distance lever below the finder.

4.   Single focal length finders, with automatic parallex adjustment by means of a parallex adjustment pin located in the accessory shoe.  These function only in the Canon VT, VT Delux, L1, L2, L3, VL, VL2, VI T, and VI L bodies.

5.   Multiple focal length finders with automatic parallex adjustment by means of wheels around the finder or levers below the finder, as in 2 and 3 above.

6.   Multiple focal length finders with with automatic parallex adjustment by means of a mechanism in the accessory shoe, for the Canon V and Canon VI bodies.
